Product Introduction

Product Description

Power Transformers

Sanding high-voltage power transformers are engineered for bulk power transmission, substation step-up and step-down applications, and demanding heavy-industrial installations. Manufactured with high-grade electrical steel, premium copper conductors, and robust insulation systems, these transformers deliver exceptionally low no-load and load losses together with excellent thermal performance.

Each unit is engineered for reliable operation under extreme ambient temperatures, high-altitude conditions, polluted environments, and frequent load variations. We provide project-specific designs to meet a wide range of international requirements and support both 50 Hz and 60 Hz power systems. Every transformer undergoes comprehensive type and routine testing to help ensure dependable long-term service in utility, industrial, renewable energy, and critical-infrastructure applications throughout North America and worldwide.

Core Advantages

Proven Reliability

Engineered for Utility & Heavy-Industrial Applications

Optimized for transmission substations and large industrial main substations, our power transformers cover transmission-class voltage levels for both step-up and step-down applications. Their robust construction is designed to withstand high inrush currents and system disturbances. Properly specified units provide reliable voltage transformation during normal grid variations, supporting power-system reliability for utility, metallurgical, chemical, and other large-scale industrial projects.

Custom-Engineered for Project Requirements

Extensive customization is available, including rated capacity, primary and secondary voltage ratios, tap-changer configuration (de-energized tap changer or OLTC), cooling method, insulation levels, high-altitude design considerations, pollution severity requirements, seismic criteria, and optional accessories such as oil preservation systems, online monitoring sensors, and fire-protection equipment. Each transformer can be engineered to applicable standards and actual site conditions to provide the appropriate performance margin without unnecessary over-specification.

Tested to Applicable International Standards

Designs can be developed in accordance with applicable IEEE, ANSI, and IEC standards. Available testing includes lightning-impulse, switching-impulse, short-circuit withstand, temperature-rise, partial-discharge, and dielectric tests, together with routine measurements such as winding resistance and voltage ratio. Complete test documentation can be provided to support customer acceptance, third-party review, and project-delivery requirements for North American and international projects.
