Sanding’s manufacturing heritage traces back to 1952, when our predecessor, the Changchun Electrical Equipment Factory, began producing transformers in Changchun, China. Formally established as the Changchun Transformer Plant in 1958 under the former Ministry of Machine-Building Industry, the company was restructured and renamed Changchun Sanding Transformer Co., Ltd. in 2003.
Over more than seven decades, Sanding has grown into a leading manufacturer and engineering service provider of high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage electrical equipment, with products delivered to more than 60 countries and nearly 50,000 units in service worldwide.
Sanding America, headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, represents this manufacturing heritage in the United States — bringing decades of furnace and power transformer engineering directly to customers across the Americas.
